Venue Notes
Class is held in upper hall on Mondays and Saturdays (11-12:00 class) and in the lower hall on Fridays and Saturdays (9.15-10am class). There are toilets to your left as you enter the building and also in the upstairs hall. Parents and carers of pre-school children are invited to join the class. Once they are settled in the class, school-age children should be left but there is a bench in the downstairs hallway and a garden (on fairer weather days) if parents/carers wish to wait.

A fun contemporary dance class with plenty of opportunity for performance and creativity. Work with others and independently to choreograph your own contemporary dance using fun creative techniques, movement games and props. A relaxed and welcoming session with no pressure. No experience needed and there is no uniform (although appropriate dance attire should be worn).

Last term the group performed a piece inspired by the behaviour of Deer which they performed at Dance Active at The Brighton Centre. They also starred in a dance film which was shown as part of Brighton ScreenDance Festival.

There will be more opportunities to create and perform in the next two terms and these will be announced soon.
